Hello, my name is Kate Adams. I was a health publisher, ironically, who managed to put on a couple of extra stone without even realising. Fed up with my expanding waistline I set out to lose my spare tyre, and keep it off for good. I put together a flat tummy diet plan to lose my extra pounds - six months later and two stone lighter I decided to share my experiences...

And so the Flat Tummy Club was born…

I have started this club because my plan worked like a dream. I lost 7 pounds in 7 days and a year later I am over two stone lighter and I feel great in myself and just about okay in a bikini! They key for me was to find the healthy things I love, like walking along the river and a pot of delicate jasmine tea, and balance my life in that direction.
