Wedding Special
There's nothing like a wedding to focus the mind on the tummy and the bingo wings. Here are a few quick tips from the club for healthy preparations for the big day.
- To help define your waist, the stomach vacuum is a 10 second exercise you can do while you wait for the kettle to boil. The waist twist is also quick and easy, both are in the FTC 10 Minute Toning.
- For toned arms and shoulders try these three simple exercises... (or take up tae bo fitness, all that punching works wonders both physically and mentally!).
- Feed your skin from the inside with water, avocados, berries, grapefruit, carrots and oats.
- To be a bloat free bride take a probiotic supplement, drink dandelion, nettle or green teas, cook with bloat-busting spices cinnamon, cardamom and cumin and digesting boosting lemon.
- Take the stress out of the build up with calming foods like celery, lettuce and chamomile tea. Sit quietly for a few minutes each day, breathing gently but deeply from your tummy and letting your thoughts and worries slow down.
- Can certain foods really make you feel more sexy? Apparently berries, oats, garlic and asparagus may all give you a little boost.
- You can look and even feel slimmer in an instant with the right posture, imagine a balloon attached to your head with a piece of string gently lengthening your spine. Keep your shoulders down and remember to breathe. And a little tip is that whenever you want to stand up think first, 'I'm going to stand up now', and just effortlessly rise up rather than heaving yourself.
- Steer clear of these foods that have a tendency to cause break outs like milk chocolate and refined sugar (which also tends to go straight to your tummy), caffeine and processed foods.
- A flaxseed oil supplement will help keep your hair lovely and glossy.
- Magic pants.
